Please remember that as a work-from-home mother, my first priority is my family.  As a designer and developer, I will give the most professional, efficient, and quality work possible while working.  If circumstances require my absence for more than 24 hours, I will send a message to all clients. 

In order to separate my family life from my work life (which is hard when your office is in your living room!), I ask that clients reserve phone calls for emergencies (broken links, missing graphics) only.

Frames

Sites using frames will be charged an additional $150 set-up fee.

Graphics

Graphic modification or redesign is charged at $60 per hour.  Graphic editing is charged independently of updates or redesigns.

Links

To have a button link placed on the Unfettered Designs site, you may do so for a fee of $200.  A graphic link will be designed and placed on a page on the Unfettered Designs site for the life of your business relationship with Unfettered Designs.  Should you terminate your business relationship with Unfettered Designs, removal of link is subject to owner's discretion.

Privacy

Personal information gathered for business purposes will not be given, leased, or sold to any third party, except as directed by the client for the purposes of setting up a website.  Site addresses will be provided for interested visitors.

Redesign

Per industry standard, changing the background and/or fonts of a page constitute a redesign and will be charged as such.  The fee for a redesign is $50 per page.  There will be a per-hour charge of $30 added to redesign fees to design or locate background graphics once the initial sample has been declined and a new request is submitted.  Depending on the complexity of the request, 1-6 hours can be added to a redesign project just to create a satisfactory background.  This time is in addition to the 2-4 hours used per page for the redesign itself.

Updates

Expect a 48-72 hour delay on all update orders.  Most updates requested during the workday will be completed within a matter of hours.  Longer delays will occur if your request is made at the end of the workday or the end of the week.  Emergencies (broken links, missing graphics) will be resolved with in 36 hours when at all possible.  Remember that this is a home-based business where family is our first priority, and we keep the seventh-day Sabbath from Friday at sundown to Saturday at sundown.

Liability

The services and graphics provided by Unfettered Designs are provided as is, without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.  In no event shall Unfettered Designs be liable for any damages whatsoever including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, loss of business profits or special damages, even if Unfettered Designs has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Unfettered Designs does not necessarily endorse, support, sanction, encourage, verify or agree with the content, comments, opinions or statements found on the sites of its customers, banner exchange participants, advertisers, vendors or partners. Information, products, and services offered, sold or placed online belong to the respective companies or individuals who place them there and are not representative of Unfettered Designs. The user understands that Unfettered Designs is not responsible for the content, quality or merchantability of any information, product or service offered herein and the user must assume full responsibility to evaluate independently the accuracy, completeness, quality and usefulness of any information or other content.

Unfettered Designs hereby expressly disclaims any and all warranties, express and implied, including but not limited to any warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose by any vendor, customer, or associate offering information, products, and services through the Unfettered Designs web site or linked to the Unfettered Designs web site. The user agrees that Unfettered Designs is not responsible, and shall have no liability to such user, with respect to any information, product or service offered by others who are linked to the Unfettered Designs web site. Unfettered Designs shall not be liable for any damages allegedly sustained arising out of use of the information, products and services. Unfettered Designs' only liability in the event of errors shall be the correction or removal of the erroneous information after verification.

While every good faith effort is made to make sure that each customer's web site contains the most current information, Unfettered Designs does not make guarantees that every page of those web sites contains the most accurate information.

Applicable Law

This site is controlled by Unfettered Designs in the State of Texas, USA. As such, the laws of the State of Texas will govern these disclaimers, terms and agreements, user policy, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of laws. Unfettered Designs reserves the right to make changes to our site and these disclaimers, terms and agreements, and user policy at any time.
